African women are peacemakers, givers of life, educators, and entrepreneurs. They juggle many responsibilities as women are often responsible for their children's health and education, managing the household, and providing food and water for the family.

Women are exceptionally impacted by diseases such as HIV/AIDS and malaria, are not given the same educational opportunities as men, and many face challenges due to widespread gender inequality. Women are also more likely to experience gender-based violence and sexual exploitation.

Africa Oasis desires to see women thrive. From literacy programs and micro-enterprise to awareness and prevention of sexual exploitation, we come alongside these amazing women with local educational programs designed to address the issues they face.

We believe that when women thrive, children and families are healthier. Together we can help to build and sustain long-term empowerment and transformation.

Our strategies focus on local church partnership by using local resources to address local challenges because we know that LOCAL LASTS LONGER. All net proceeds go to designated projects and programs. Thank you for your support.

Women face many obstacles in Africa, not the least of which is menstrual hygiene management. The cost of locally purchased disposable pads forces many women and young girls to choose between necessities such as food or clean drinking water, and sanitary pads. Young girls may miss school because of challenges associated with menstrual hygiene management in the school setting. This can lead to girls dropping out of school, leaving them vulnerable to early marriage and human trafficking. The church can help change this through compassion ministry that empowers young girls to finish school.
